Relentless automation—one of the four things that ConnectWise CEO Jason Magee emphasized in his keynote presentation at IT Nation Connect in Orlando, Florida, on November 9-11, 2022. The three-day conference was jam-packed with events and activities attended by over 4000 registered participants. The event was an opportunity to see where the future of tech is headed and to learn how to achieve business success by using tech to their advantage.

“The next path forward for so many of you is going to be: get more automation out of what you already have,”

Magee said into the microphone.

He stated that we know what automating looks like and that many already automate how they do business using management systems and unified monitoring management. However, the need for more automation comes from the next wave of technology and leveraging artificial intelligence and machine learning for faster data-driven decisions. Magee encourages the crowd that integrating these tools is the biggest step toward preparing for the future.

Is Relentless Automation the wave of the future?

According to a report by IT service company AHEAD, relentless automation is a framework that entails a commitment to automation in the pursuit of digital transformation.

Relentless automation identifies tasks and processes you can automate that outweigh upfront and recurring costs. Automating IT work brings about many advantages, which include reducing errors and process variabilities, lowering operating risks, faster execution, and freeing up staff for higher-value work. AHEAD highlighted that creating opportunities for more meaningful work contributes to the transformation businesses are trying to achieve.

Relentless automation comes into play to guide businesses into standardizing and then automating at task and service levels.

A Game-Changing Platform

An integral part of running MSPs is using many available software products designed to help manage the business in different aspects. These may include ConnectWise, Datto, Kaseya, N-able, QuickBooks, Liongard, and many others.

It would then be a game-changer to have a platform that integrates as many of these existing software products into one place, make a dashboard out of the data they provide, and automate tasks and services based on that collected data. Putting all of these products on one platform would be crucial in creating relentless automation for a business.

To get started, the robotic process automation platform MSPbots currently integrates with more than 60 popular MSP software products and has designed thousands of prebuilt assets that make automation possible. The more datasets there are, the more possibilities for automation. Of all MSP dashboards in the market, MSPbots has the largest variety.

“Innovations are ever-changing,” Magee stated. “And you should dedicate time, whether it’s here or back in your office, to optimize integration so that you can automate even more.”

Following relentless automation, the ConnectWise CEO enumerated putting data to work, exceptional customer experience, and cybersecurity as the focus for future success in the tech industry.
